What Is Paint The Town?
Paint the Town (PTT) is a servant evangelism platform—engaging life where it happens, building inroads for ongoing relationships setting the stage for making an eternal impact.
Paint the Town works in partnership with mission churches, local churches, and new church plants in engaging their communities in new and creative ways—creating environments where people can, perhaps for the first time, experience God’s love and grace in real and powerful ways.
What Does PTT Do?
Engaging life where it happens is a fundamental part of Paint The Town's strategy. Whether painting local schools, community centers, or assisted living facilities - or by conducting neighborhood events - building inroads for ongoing relationships sets the stage for making an eternal impact
Why Do We Do It?
Working in partnership with local & missionary churches & other groups, Paint The Town helps foster good will within their neighborhoods, creating additional opportunities for the local churches to minister to the needs of their neighbors - opening the doors to their hearts.
More than 21 million souls (withing a 75-mile radius) call this home, creating exciting and extensive ministry opportunities through the 5 boroughs and beyond.
Who Can Get involved?
Partners & friends of Crossroads Church can get involved as we paint our local community together.
Paint The Town is also seeking teams of volunteers to partner in ministry with our church, local churches, and church plants in engaging their communities and creating environments where people can, perhaps for the first time, experience God's love and grace in real and powerful ways. Crossroads Church & volunteer teams will work together to provide resources and people for the project. Working closely together to reach people in a specific community also opens doors to a longer-term partnership.
How Can Someone Get Started Helping PTT?
The first step in partnering with PTT is committing to pray for the area you will work in, the people you will work with, and those who you will minister to. Prayer is integral in establishing a relationship between volunteer teams and local churches before any actual project takes place.
Step two is sending a team to work with PTT, Crossroads Church & local churches / church plants to engage the community. After the completion of your first project, PTT desires that ongoing partnerships develop for future opportunities together
